What is TAKE?

TAKE stands for The Absolute Key Essentials. A wellness system formulated specifically for people on GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound, and for bariatric surgery patients. A 2025 joint advisory from four professional societies (Mozaffarian et al., Obesity) reported that caloric intake falls by 16 to 39% across the GLP-1 drug class. Each TAKE Essential was formulated around one need that commonly surfaces when food intake falls: nutrition, gut balance, electrolytes, muscle, hair, sleep, digestive comfort, and protein.

Who is TAKE for?

TAKE is for anyone on a GLP-1 medication or recovering from bariatric surgery who wants to support their body while it changes. Are TAKE products safe to take with GLP-1 medications?

TAKE products are dietary supplements, not medications. As with any supplement, consult your healthcare provider before use, particularly if you are taking prescription medication or have an existing medical condition. Two points deserve particular attention. TAKE Rest contains St John's Wort, which reduces the effectiveness of hormonal contraception and interacts with SSRIs, SNRIs and many prescription medications; see the Rest questions below. TAKE Complete and TAKE Regrowth both contain saw palmetto, which is not suitable during pregnancy, while nursing, or when trying to conceive.

Where are TAKE products made?

Every TAKE product is manufactured in the United States, with one exception: TAKE Flow, which is manufactured in Latvia. The US range is made in FDA-registered facilities, because dietary supplement manufacturers selling into the United States are required to register their facilities with the FDA. Each product's country of manufacture is published on its own product page.

Are TAKE products FDA approved?

TAKE products are dietary supplements. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they go to market. Facility registration is a separate thing from approval: our US-made range is produced in FDA-registered facilities, as US dietary supplement manufacturers are required to be, and TAKE Flow is manufactured in Latvia. Registration is not approval, and we would rather you knew the difference. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. TAKE products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Are TAKE products safe for bariatric surgery patients?

TAKE was formulated with both GLP-1 and bariatric patients in mind. The nutritional needs created by significantly reduced food intake are similar across both groups. Most bariatric guidelines recommend 60 to 80g of protein daily and lifelong micronutrient supplementation. Bariatric patients often have specific absorption considerations depending on their procedure. Consult your bariatric care team before starting any new supplement protocol.

Do I need to take all eight products?

No. Every TAKE Essential is formulated to work independently or as part of a larger system. Start with the products closest to what you are experiencing. If you are unsure where to begin, The Foundation System was built around three common early priorities: nutrition, gut support, and electrolytes.

What should I start with if I am new to TAKE?

The Foundation System is the most common starting point. Why is my hair falling out on a GLP-1 medication?

Hair shedding is commonly reported during rapid weight loss, including by people using GLP-1 medications. The condition is known as telogen effluvium. Metabolic and nutritional stress during rapid weight loss can push hair follicles prematurely into a dormancy phase. The shedding typically begins two to four months after weight loss starts, which is why many people do not immediately connect it to their medication. Shedding of this kind is usually temporary, and it tends to settle as the body adjusts to a lower weight and a smaller intake. If it continues beyond that, or if hair is coming out in patches rather than evenly across the scalp, it is worth raising with a clinician. What is MAKTREK Bi-Pass Technology in Flora?

MAKTREK is a patented marine polysaccharide delivery system designed to carry probiotic strains through stomach acid. Stomach acid destroys a large share of the viable cultures in a standard probiotic before they reach the intestine, which is where they are wanted. MAKTREK's double-layered matrix is intended to reduce that loss in transit, so that more of Flora's 40 billion CFU per two-capsule serving arrives intact.* Flora's 800mg blend carries four strains, La-14, Bl-04, Lp-115 and Lpc-37, with 24mg of FOS as a synbiotic component rather than a prebiotic dose. What is the difference between TAKE Hydrate and TAKE Build?

They are less alike than the names suggest, and the difference is sodium. TAKE Hydrate is a daily drink built around seven B vitamins at a third of the daily value each, with 100mg of sodium, 200mg of potassium, 40mg of calcium and 20mg of magnesium per 5.4g scoop, at ten calories a scoop. Its seven B vitamins do not include biotin, so it is not a full B complex. Its job is making daily fluid easier when plain water is unappealing. TAKE Build carries 5,000mg of creatine monohydrate alongside 1,000mg of sodium, which is ten times Hydrate's, plus 200mg of potassium and 60mg of magnesium per 10g serving.* Build is the heavier electrolyte load, and creatine's trial evidence is strongest when paired with resistance movement. Hydrate is the everyday drink. Plenty of people take both, which comes to 1,100mg of sodium a day between them, and if you are watching your sodium that is a number worth knowing rather than discovering.

What flavors does TAKE Hydrate come in?

TAKE Hydrate is available in four flavors: Lemonade, Lychee, Peach Mango, and Passion Fruit. Each tub is 30 scoops.

Is creatine safe for women?

The evidence is reassuring. A meta-analysis published in June 2026 in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition pooled seven randomised, placebo-controlled trials covering 608 postmenopausal women and reported adverse events that were mild and no more frequent than placebo, with renal indices unchanged. Women also start from a lower base: endogenous creatine stores in women run roughly 70 to 80 percent below men's, and dietary intake is lower. The same analysis found a lean mass difference of 0.37kg and a leg strength difference of 7.5kg, with effects most consistent at 5 grams a day or more paired with resistance movement, and bone mineral density was unchanged. Will creatine make me bulky or gain weight?

No. Creatine draws water into the muscle cell rather than under the skin, so some people see one to two pounds on the scale in the first week or two. That is intracellular fluid, not fat. The idea that creatine makes women bulky is not supported by the research and never has been.

How do I take TAKE Rest?

Take 1 to 2 capsules about three hours before you intend to sleep. Start with 1 capsule (5mg melatonin) and move to 2 capsules (10mg), the full label serving, if you need deeper support.* A bottle is 60 capsules: 60 nights at one capsule, 30 at two. Rest contains St John's Wort, which reduces the effectiveness of hormonal contraception and interacts with SSRIs, SNRIs and many prescription medications, so speak to your prescriber before you start it. Does TAKE Rest contain St John's Wort?

Yes. It is one of fourteen ingredients in Rest's 905mg proprietary sleep blend. St John's Wort can reduce the effectiveness of hormonal contraception, with documented cases of contraceptive failure, and it interacts with SSRIs, SNRIs, other antidepressants and a wide range of prescription medications by changing how quickly the liver clears them. Rest also contains 5-HTP and L-Tryptophan, which affect serotonin. If you use hormonal contraception, take an antidepressant, or take any prescription medication, speak to your prescriber before taking Rest. How much ashwagandha is in TAKE Rest?

We do not know, and neither does anyone outside the manufacturer. Ashwagandha is one of fourteen ingredients inside a 905mg proprietary blend and is listed twelfth, which under labeling rules means it is among the smallest components. The same is true of 5-HTP, which is listed fourteenth. Trials on ashwagandha typically use 300 to 600mg on its own; Rest's amount within the blend is undisclosed. Melatonin at 5mg per capsule is the only active in Rest whose amount is disclosed.*

Why do GLP-1 medications disrupt sleep?

Sleep complaints are commonly reported during GLP-1 treatment, and the reasons are not fully established. Two contributing factors are often discussed: eating substantially less means less tryptophan arrives with food, and rapid weight loss is a physiological stress. TAKE Rest pairs melatonin at 5mg per capsule with a 905mg botanical sleep blend led by L-tryptophan, the dietary precursor to serotonin.* Rest contains St John's Wort, which reduces the effectiveness of hormonal contraception and interacts with SSRIs, SNRIs and many prescription medications, so speak to your prescriber first. Will TAKE Rest make me groggy in the morning?

Grogginess is usually a dose or timing question. Start with 1 capsule (5mg melatonin) about three hours before you intend to sleep, and move to 2 capsules (10mg) if you need deeper support.* If you wake up groggy, drop back to one capsule or take it a little earlier in the evening. If you use hormonal contraception or take any prescription medication, read the St John's Wort answer above before taking Rest at all.

What is the difference between Nourish Chocolate and Nourish Vanilla?

They are two different formulas, not one formula in two flavours. Chocolate delivers 21g of protein per 34.7g serving, contains 1g of dietary fiber and 1g of sugars, includes sunflower lecithin and two cocoa powders, and declares vitamin D, iron, phosphorus and magnesium on its panel. Vanilla delivers 20g of protein per 35g serving, has 4g of sugars, declares no dietary fiber amount, and contains no lecithin. Both are built on the same Tendra fava bean isolate and YESTEIN fermented yeast protein base, both are vegan and non-GMO, and both come as 24 servings made in the United States. Is TAKE Nourish suitable for people with food allergies?

TAKE Nourish is made without dairy, whey or gluten, and it is vegan and non-GMO. Neither Chocolate nor Vanilla declares soy on its Supplement Facts panel. Chocolate uses sunflower lecithin rather than the soy lecithin common in protein powders, and Vanilla contains no lecithin at all. Soy is a major allergen under US labeling law and would have to be declared if it were present as an ingredient. Chocolate and Vanilla have different ingredient lists, and both are published on their product pages. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity, read the list for the flavor you are buying and consult your healthcare provider before starting.

Can I use TAKE Regrowth alongside other hair care products?

Yes. Apply TAKE Regrowth serum to a clean, dry scalp before other styling products. The formula is lightweight and non-greasy by design for comfortable daily use, and it is compatible with most hair care routines. Two things to know before you start: Regrowth is a cosmetic scalp serum of 30ml rather than a hair loss treatment, and it contains saw palmetto, soybean germ extract and wheat germ extract, so it is not suitable during pregnancy or while nursing.

How long before I see results from TAKE Regrowth?

Hair responds on a cycle measured in months, not weeks. What you shed today was decided months ago, and what you support today shows months from now. Shedding linked to rapid weight loss typically eases on its own as the body adjusts, and this timeline varies from person to person. We do not promise results on a schedule; anyone who does is selling something the evidence does not support. Take a photo when you start, apply consistently, and judge at month six rather than month one. Individual results vary.

Is TAKE Flow safe for daily use?

Yes. TAKE Flow is formulated for daily use: 3,000mg of psyllium husk with 60mg of tamarind, a 30mg enzyme blend and 15mg of ginger root extract per sachet, 30 sachets to a box.* Psyllium is a bulk-forming fibre rather than a stimulant laxative. Take Flow at least two hours away from any medication, as psyllium husk can affect absorption. The ginger is present at 15mg, a fraction of the doses used in nausea research, so Flow is not a nausea remedy. Not recommended for children under 16 or during pregnancy without medical guidance. Flow is made in Latvia, and it is the one TAKE product not made in the United States.

Does TAKE contain artificial ingredients?

Each ingredient is included for a specific functional purpose, including the flavouring, sweetening and anti-caking agents that a powder or capsule format requires. TAKE Hydrate contains natural and artificial flavors and is sweetened with sucralose. TAKE Build and TAKE Nourish are sweetened with stevia leaf. Full ingredient lists are published on every product page, and we would rather you read them than take our word for it.

Can I take multiple TAKE products together?

Yes. The Essentials are designed to work together as a system. There are no known interactions between TAKE products. What is the difference between a System and buying individual Essentials?

Each System is a pre-built combination of three Essentials gathered around one set of GLP-1 challenges, priced below the combined individual retail value. There are five: The Foundation System at $131, The Gut Reset at $131, The Restore System at $123, The Strength System at $144, and The Renewal System at $165. If you have a clear priority, whether that is digestive health, hair changes, muscle support, sleep, or foundational nutrition, a System is the most direct starting point. Every System is priced 15% below the sum of its parts.

Can I mix and match Essentials from different Systems?

Yes. Every Essential works independently and alongside any other Essential in the line. There is no wrong combination. You can also combine any Essentials that fit your routine.

Where do you ship?

TAKE ships within the mainland United States: the 48 contiguous states and Washington DC. We are not able to deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or APO and FPO military addresses at this time. International shipping is not available. If you are outside our current delivery area and would like to be notified when we can reach you, email care@takecomplete.com.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within one to three business days and delivered within five to ten business days. Orders over $80 ship free.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 30 days, for any reason. If you are not satisfied, contact us at care@takecomplete.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Capsules, powders and sachets are covered whether they have been opened or not. For hygiene reasons, an opened bottle of TAKE Regrowth can only be returned if it arrived damaged or defective, in which case we replace it at no charge.
