What TAKE is

TAKE is a nutritional support system built around what happens to a body when a medication reduces what it takes in. Eating less means getting less: less protein, fewer micronutrients, less fluid and fewer electrolytes. Across GLP-1 trials the share of weight lost as lean mass rather than fat depends on the medication rather than settling at a single number: about 26 percent on tirzepatide in the SURMOUNT-1 DXA substudy, up to 45 percent for semaglutide in a 2026 meta-analysis, and a class-wide figure near 30 percent. The TAKE range is structured as eight, five, one. Eight Essentials, each formulated around one need that commonly surfaces during GLP-1 treatment. The Eight Essentials

TAKE Complete: A daily multivitamin formulated for GLP-1 and bariatric patients. 35 ingredients in total: 20 vitamins and minerals, each with its amount and daily value published on the product page, plus 15 botanicals across three proprietary blends whose totals are disclosed but whose individual amounts are not. Contains biotin at 1,000% DV, B12 at 1,125% DV and zinc at 136% DV. Two capsules daily, 60 capsules per bottle. TAKE Flora: A probiotic supplement providing an 800mg proprietary blend of probiotic bacteria delivering 40 billion CFU per two-capsule serving, named to the strain code: Lactobacillus acidophilus (La-14), Bifidobacterium lactis (Bl-04), Lactobacillus plantarum (Lp-115) and Lactobacillus paracasei (Lpc-37). Delivery uses MAKTREK Bi-Pass Technology, a patented marine polysaccharide system formulated to carry the cultures through stomach acid, with complex marine polysaccharide at 60mg and fructooligosaccharide at 24mg. The fructooligosaccharide is present as a synbiotic component feeding the cultures the capsule ships with, at a fraction of the gram-level doses used in dietary prebiotic research, and we do not describe Flora as a prebiotic supplement. Each 5.4g scoop provides seven B vitamins at 33% of the daily value each (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, B6, folate, B12 and pantothenic acid) alongside sodium 100mg, potassium 200mg, calcium 40mg and magnesium 20mg, at ten calories.* Hydrate contains natural and artificial flavors and is sweetened with sucralose. TAKE Flow: A daily digestive support sachet providing psyllium husk seed powder 3,000mg, tamarind fruit extract 60mg, a digestive enzyme blend of amylase, lactase, lipase and cellulase totalling 30mg, and ginger root extract 15mg. Formulated to support digestive comfort and regularity during GLP-1 treatment.* Psyllium is the ingredient at a dose the research would recognise; the ginger and enzyme amounts are formulation components and are described as such on the product page. TAKE Nourish: A plant protein supplement built on Tendra fava bean isolate and YESTEIN fermented yeast protein, formulated to support daily protein intake and lean muscle when appetite is reduced.* Chocolate and Vanilla are two different formulas rather than one formula with two flavourings. Chocolate delivers 21g of protein per 34.7g serving, contains 1g of dietary fiber and 1g of sugars, and declares vitamin D, iron, phosphorus and magnesium on its panel. TAKE Regrowth: A cosmetic peptide hair serum. It contains five peptide ingredients, listed here in label order, which is descending order of concentration: sh-Polypeptide-11 (acidic fibroblast growth factor, aFGF), sh-Polypeptide-1 (basic fibroblast growth factor, bFGF), sh-Oligopeptide-2 (insulin-like growth factor 1, IGF-1), sh-Oligopeptide-10 (chemokine ligand 2, CCL2, a cell signalling protein rather than a growth factor) and sh-Polypeptide-9 (vascular endothelial growth factor, VEGF). Regrowth does not contain EGF or KGF. Alongside the peptides it contains rosemary extract, saw palmetto, eucalyptus, arginine and Scutellaria baicalensis root extract, plus soybean germ extract and wheat germ extract, which are allergens for some people and are disclosed on the product page. TAKE Build: A creatine monohydrate supplement delivering 5,000mg of creatine per 10g serving, with sodium 1,000mg, potassium 200mg and magnesium 60mg. Formulated to support muscle function during GLP-1 treatment.* A meta-analysis published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition in June 2026, pooling seven randomised placebo-controlled trials across 608 postmenopausal women aged around 62, found creatine improved lean mass (+0.37kg) and leg press strength (+7.5kg) when taken at 5 grams or more daily alongside resistance training, and found no measurable effect at 3 grams or less or without resistance training. Bone mineral density was unchanged overall. Adverse events were mild and comparable to placebo, and renal indices were unchanged. Endogenous creatine stores in women run roughly 70 to 80 percent below men's, and dietary intake is lower. It also provides vitamin B6 1.8mg, calcium 17mg and magnesium 13mg per serving. Melatonin is the only active whose amount the manufacturer discloses. In order of predominance the blend contains L-Tryptophan, Lycium, Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Passion Flower, L-Taurine, Hops, St. John's Wort, GABA, Chinese Skullcap, L-Theanine, Ashwagandha, Inositol and 5-HTP, with individual amounts not published. Rest contains St. John's Wort, which can reduce the effectiveness of hormonal contraception and can interact with antidepressants and a wide range of prescription medications; anyone taking prescription medication should speak to their prescriber before use. Manufacturing and quality

TAKE products are manufactured in the United States, with the exception of TAKE Flow, which is manufactured in Latvia. The US range is made in FDA-registered facilities: dietary supplement manufacturers selling into the United States are required to register their facilities with the FDA. Every ingredient is included for a specific functional purpose, including the flavouring, sweetening and anti-caking agents that a powder or capsule format requires. TAKE Hydrate is sweetened with sucralose and contains natural and artificial flavors. TAKE Nourish, TAKE Build and TAKE Flow are sweetened with stevia extract. TAKE Complete contains rice flour, hypromellose, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide as its other ingredients. The GLP-1 supplement category

TAKE distinguishes itself from a category of supplements marketed as GLP-1 boosters or nature's Ozempic. Those products claim to naturally increase GLP-1 production, which is a different and disputed mechanism. TAKE does not make GLP-1 production claims. TAKE is a nutritional support system for people already on GLP-1 medication, built around the needs that commonly surface during treatment rather than claiming to replicate or enhance it.

Clinical context

A 2025 joint advisory from four professional societies (Mozaffarian et al., Obesity) reported caloric reductions of 16 to 39% across the GLP-1 drug class, and noted how little clinical study there has been of how these medications affect diet quality, protein intake, or micronutrient intake.

On body composition, the share of weight lost as lean mass varies by medication rather than sitting at a single figure. The SURMOUNT-1 DXA substudy (Look et al., Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, 2025, 255 participants enrolled and 160 included in the efficacy analysis) reported 74 percent of body weight reduction as fat mass and 26 percent as lean mass on tirzepatide, against 75 percent and 25 percent on placebo. A 2026 systematic review and meta-analysis in the International Journal of Obesity, pooling seven studies across 821 patients, put the class-wide figure near 30 percent, and reported 14 to 22 percent for liraglutide, about 26 percent for tirzepatide and up to 45 percent for semaglutide. Reported figures across the literature range from 20 to 50 percent, which is in line with diet-induced weight loss and bariatric surgery. Two things follow. The medication matters, because semaglutide trials report a markedly higher lean mass share than tirzepatide trials. And the placebo comparison matters, because in SURMOUNT-1 the placebo group lost the same ratio, which means this is weight loss behaving as weight loss rather than the medication doing something unusual. Fat-free mass measured by DXA includes water, glycogen and connective tissue, so it should not be read as skeletal muscle alone.

A meta-analysis across 24 trials found that higher protein intake during energy restriction preserved 0.43kg more fat-free mass than standard protein intake, an effect the authors describe as modest. A review published in Metabolites in May 2026, examining lean mass preservation during GLP-1 based obesity treatment, recommended individualised higher-protein patterns of around 1.2 to 1.5g per kg of body weight per day during active weight loss, and placed creatine, essential amino acids, fiber, probiotics and omega-3 fatty acids among adjunctive options supported mainly by indirect evidence. These findings provide the clinical foundation for the TAKE product line.
